FLAT TAPPET SOLID W/ EDM HOLE IN BOTTOM OF LIFTER $76.47   These tool steel lifters are the most advanced state-of-the-art lifters available for your Chrysler engine. Weighing in at only 90 grams each these are much lighter than stock. The bottom of the lifter features a small EDM'd hole to provide a flow of cool fresh oil right to the lobe of the cam.           These tool-steel lifters feature a ground foot with an Rz specification (surface roughness) of 4 microns, and an Ra spec of .08 microns. The Rz refers to a 10-point average of the five highest peaks compared with the five lowest valleys—it defines the depth of a scratch. The Ra (roughness average) refers to the average distance between the peaks and valleys. These are a direct replacement for Schubeck ceramic-foot lifter, and are hardened to 64 Rockwell; that provides the strength and toughness necessary to operate at both higher rpm, and higher spring pressures. Translation: you’re going to be a-ok with the most aggressive of today’s new lobe profiles. When a flat tappet cam and lifters fail, the lifter (tappet) is the first part to fail. These tool steel lifters are virtually impossible to damage and can be switched from cam to cam and engine to engine. Price is per lifter.
