VICTOR 440 (3500-7500 rpm)
For competition and high-rpm 413-426-440 c.i.d. Chrysler V8s, the Victor 440 has an all-new runner design that delivers maximum power from 3500 to 7500 rpm. This single-plane intake manifold includes nitrous bosses and is designed for square-bore carburetors. Dual carburetor bolt hole patterns are provided for both standard and Thermo-Quad carbs, with sufficient carburetor pad material for conversion to a Thermo-Quad carburetor for Super Stock applications. Match this race-winning manifold with Edelbrock Performer RPM Chrysler 440 aluminum cylinder heads . Will not fit 1962-64 Max Wedge heads.
There are three levels of modifications available for intake manifolds:
- Deep port match (5415DPM) Will increase the airflow 15-25 CFM. Note: there are some manifolds, such as the small block Edelbrock performer (a dual plane) and the Weiand Accelerator that have reduced the cross-sectional area, at the gaskets , to the small 318 port sizes. Naturally, when they are properly opened up to the 360 port size, the flow increases will be considerably more, (like 35-45 CFM) but they are very low to start with. ($165.00 at this time)
- STAGE 1 (5415S1) Flow increases from 35-60 CFM.The runner cross-sectional area is opened up for it’s entire length. Wall, floor and roof changes are made as required on each specific manifold. ($320.00-$380.00)
- STAGE II (5415S2) 55-95 CFM total increase. This level of modification will include our stage 1 runners and custom work to the plenum and runner entrances to equalize and increase airflow even further. ($570.00-$630.00)
Important... A/B Measurements
CHECKING FOR HOOD CLEARANCE
 
To ensure adequate hood clearance, check the height of your stock manifold and compare the "A" and "B" measurements against those of the Edelbrock manifold prior to purchase. The heights of all Edelbrock manifolds are listed under "Installation Notes" for each model in the intake manifold section of this catalog.
Please Note: To figure carburetor pad height, add dimensions "A" "B" and divide by 2.
This intake Manifold height: A-5.82", B-6.10", measured to engine block, see A/B Measurements in above photo. Port exit dimensions: 1.14" x 2.10".
A stock big block intake manifold has an "A" measurment of approximately 3.33" .
Will not fit 1962-64 Max Wedge heads. Carb center to carb center: 6-7/16". Manifold measures 8.75" across block. <
