    This part number includes the legendary Hughes Engines, inc. Stage 3 CNC porting. This level of porting is meant for maximum effort engines looking to make up to 650 HP or more.  Stage 3 heads are fully CNC ported and will increase the flow by approximately 42-48cfm over the stock out of the box Edelbrock Magnums. They also have a special racing valve and seat grind and include "blueprinting work" that corrects "as cast" flaws. This improves valve and seat sealing and airflow. It also includes an upgrade to our premium Ultra Blend Fluoroelastomer (Known As Viton) valve stem seals. There is no additional labor charge to upgrade to any of the spring kits listed below.  
 
   

CNC porting of the heads will increase the overall chamber size. If you need the heads milled to a certain cc
or are trying to achieve a specific compression ratio,  let us know and we can quote you a price on milling.


   Designed for 1992 and later 5.2L (318ci) and 1993 and later 5.9L (360ci) Chrysler Magnum V8s

 

  • Substantial performance improvements for street/strip and off-road performance use
  • Easy bolt-on upgrade for these modern engines with substantial out-of-the-box performance gains
  • Stock Magnum intake and exhaust flange and port locations make this an ideal choice for use with stock equipment as well as the new RPM Air-Gap manifold, #5307
  • 176cc intake ports and 75cc exhaust ports with 58cc combustion chambers for a slight increase in compression over the factory heads
  • 2.08" intake and 1.60" exhaust valves with 11/32" stems offer more flow than stock and they accept adjustable, aftermarket rocker arms
  • Easily adaptable to older "LA" engines.
  • If you are going to use these with a flat tappet cam it will require that you have us do some extra clearancing for the pushrods. This is an additional cost of $80.00.
