2.02" Intake Valves & 1.620" Exhaust Valves (No springs, purchased seperately)
If you would like a complete assembled set of heads with oversize valves with our Super Prep job, you need to order this part number and then also order a spring kit from the related parts below based on your cams spring requirements. The additional price for the spring kit will be added when you add the spring kit to your cart. We can get these results with a 2.02" valve, a special valve and seat job, and very special porting in critical areas only. What this means is we can supply the flow numbers to feed 450 HP at an extremely attractive price.
The only drawback (and it may be a positive for many) is that the porting is not visibly obvious. In other words, you are gonna need to look close to see anything. You can't see much, but you sure can feel it. The exhaust flow is not modified as we feel that it is more than adequate for the intake flow available. These super prepped stage 1 heads have small port volumes and are suitable even on stock engines. Are they the perfect head for Magnums & the "LA's"? Could be! If not, they are very close, at this time!
These are brand new heads, not reconditioned. They are considered heavy duty because they have pressed-in, hardened exhaust seats like diesel, and R/T heads. OEM Magnum heads are extremely prone to cracking between the seats. This is a very common problem with heads that have induction hardened exhaust seats, like the OEM iron heads. Our Iron Ram Magnum Heads #4666 have all of the bolt and accessory mounting holes and are a direct replacement for the OEM 5.2L/5.9L Magnum heads. These heads have all the original type and sized parts.
Keep in mind that these heads can be drilled to accept the "LA" style intake bolt pattern for an additional $80.

When using these heads with a flat tappet cam it will require that the pushrod tunnels be clearanced. We can do this for an additional charge of $40. If you need this done please make a note in the comment section when you place your order and we will contact you.
This head can be ordered with dual intake bolt patterns ("LA" & Magnum) for $85.00.
