These are the ultimate Chrysler roller cams. Like our flat tappet cams, they are designed with Chrysler engine needs in mind. The tremendous power increases of these cams are achieved with very high ramp velocities (rates-of-lift). When the 9,000-10,000 rpm engine speeds are not required, we are able to design-in even faster rates-of-lift. Super high (spring killer) valve lifts are not necessary. The Big Block engine limit is 8000 rpm and the Small Block is 8500 rpm. The opening ramps on these cams are of the inverse design for very fast rates-of-lift and the closing ramps are of conventional design for gentle closing velocities.

Caution: Timing specifications shown above are for cams with 114º LSA. For larger camshafts or carbureted engines, call us for details on modifying this cam for compatibilty with your application. Minimum piston-to-valve clearance is 0.060" intake and 0.100" exhaust. If your clearance is not adequate, we have tooling to cut deeper valve reliefs. Check our tooling section.

Spring Warning: Our camshafts are not comparable to other manufacturers and require special valve spring pressures to operate and live satisfactorily. You should use our recommended springs, most other springs will not work properly and may cause severe damage. * Note: Valve springs #1102 and #1111 require the use of aftermarket, single lock groove valves such as our #1003 and #1012 parts. The valve spring pad may also need to be machined for the proper installed height. When using #1111 valve springs, use #1320 machined valve locks.

Note: All camshafts are supplied without keys. Specify part number 7543 when ordering if you need a new cam key. See the Camshaft Accessory page for more information.
