Small Block Victor Heads Coming Soon!

12/18/2011

------------ You asked for it! ----------

(Actually I have been asking for it for about 3 years.)

A small block version of the Victor cylinder head. PHOTOS BELOW

Features: Currently it looks like the head will be available in 3 versions.

1. Bare with a CNC ported chamber and as cast ports.
2. B
are with a CNC ported chamber, valve job, and valves.
3. P
ro-port version with under size ports, full corners on the intake entry (to allow an oval shaped entry), no chamber at all, and no pushrod
machining to allow any offset desired.

Chambers: 59cc
Intake Valves: 2.150" X 11/32" stem
Exhaust Valves: 1.60" X 11/32" stem

Designed to use standard 5 bolt "LA" style valve covers.
Exhaust Ports are W5 pattern

These heads will use a version of the big block rockers, which means we will be able to supply up to a 1.85:1 ratio if necessary. The heads will have an 18 bolt potential but can be used on a 10 bolt block. You pick the lifter angle 59º - 45º. They should be able to accomodate anything you want. (These should be able to work on any of the existing aftermarket racing blocks like the R3 or Ritter blocks). The base bolt-on version will be for a 59º angle but they can easily be changed with a Bridgeport.
We have a plastic version with lots of epoxy corrections that we now have flowing 350cfm @ .650" with a very quick flow rise (Fat Flow). The final aluminum casting always flows different than the plastic models so stay tuned for updates.
Price: My guess is that I'd better not speculate...but, they will be priced very competitively.
Availability: We are hoping Spring of 2012.

Keep watching our website for updates as we get more testing done as the prototypes start coming in.
