Compression ratios calculated on a zero deck engine bored +.030 and a .040" head gasket.
FHR series "Off the Shelf" pistons are loaded with premium features found in custom made pistons.
FHR - Formed Head Relief pistons have valve reliefs that are formed in as the piston blank is pressed into the die.
4032 Alloy material has a 11% silicon content which controls the thermal expansion so a tighter piston to wall clearance may be used over the 2618 alloy. The additional silicon will also increase wearability on the skirts and pin bores making this an ideal material for street and light boosted applications.
