The CNC /Super Prepped head work, done by Hughes Engines, includes our proprietary racing valve job and seat grind that improves valve and seat sealing and airflow. A deep port match is done to blend the intake and exhaust ports better. The intake stem heights are equalized and the exhaust valve stem heights are equalized. On top of all of that we perform C.N.C. combustion chamber work that is specifically designed to increase air-flow by un-shrouding the valve.
This chamber work opens up the chamber by approximately 8cc. If you need them milled back to original or a certain cc, let us know and we can quote you a price.

This is for a pair of heads with Hughes Engines CNC Super prep work.
The Indy 440 EZ head is an aluminum high performance/racing cylinder head that has raised intake ports. All standard big block intake manifolds, rocker arms & valve covers can be used on these heads.These cylinder heads will exceed the performance of any presently existing cylinder head that meets the stock head replacement criteria, and several that don't according to the manufacturer.
The EZ heads are designed for with a low exhaust port location and bolt patterns. Most all standard exhaust headers will work. Like all INDY heads the EZ features the long valve design and cast aluminum valley plate.
