Fabricated parts can vary slightly from piece to piece and may require some modification to obtain optimal fit and performance.  When using these valve covers along with the Hughes Engines FI AirGap intake (#5409) there will be interference between the valve cover and the intake that requires machining of the intake and/or the valve covers. These work fine with the stock intake manifold.
